2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Some features require you to sign in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity carried out through it. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You must not share or use account access in a way that violates your plan, these Terms, or applicable law.

3. The Service

TheUrlInsights provides tools to review links, redirects, page resources, technical SEO signals, and website scan findings. Depending on the version and plan, features may include:

• Link and resource checking on a page
• HTTP status and redirect-chain checks
• On-page SEO checks
• Robots directives, canonical, hreflang, sitemap, and structured-data checks
• Full Site Scan and scan history
• CSV and JSON exports and other report formats available in the product
• Settings to customize checks, results, and display options

Available features and usage limits depend on your plan and the version of the Service. Features, limits, and supported checks may change over time.

The Service provides diagnostic information. It does not guarantee that a website will be indexed, rank higher in search results, meet every search engine requirement, or be free of errors.

4. Your Responsibility for Scans

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to check the websites and resources you scan. You must comply with applicable law, contractual restrictions, website terms, and authorization requirements.

You must not use the Service to:

• Scan, access, or test systems without authorization where authorization is required
• Interfere with, overload, disrupt, or impair websites, servers, or networks
• Bypass authentication or security controls for an unlawful purpose
• Collect or misuse personal information in violation of applicable law
• Engage in fraud, harassment, unlawful surveillance, or other illegal activity
• Circumvent plan limits, access controls, or technical restrictions
• Infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service except where applicable law does not permit that restriction

Use reasonable scan settings and avoid activity that could place an unnecessary burden on a website or service.

5. Scan Accuracy and Technical Limitations

The results of link and SEO checks depend on factors outside our control, including the target website’s configuration, network availability, rate limits, firewalls, bot restrictions, redirects, authentication requirements, dynamic content, and server responses.

The extension’s checking requests do not send your browser’s cookies. Pages and resources that require a logged-in session may therefore return an authentication-required result or may not be fully accessible to the checker.

Some pages render content through scripts or other mechanisms that may not be fully detected. Results can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. A response status or SEO finding should be reviewed in context before you make changes to a website.

You are responsible for reviewing scan results and deciding whether and how to act on them. The Service is not a substitute for your own testing, security review, professional advice, or judgment.

6. Plans and Usage Limits

The Service may offer free and paid plans, including recurring subscriptions and one-time lifetime-access purchases where available. Current plan descriptions, prices, features, page limits, scan quotas, and other restrictions are provided on the pricing page or at checkout.

Available plan types and entitlements are those shown on the website or at checkout at the time of use or purchase.

Some accounts may receive a time-limited trial. If a trial applies, its duration, included features, and what happens when it ends will be shown in the relevant account or checkout information.

Your plan determines which features you can use and the applicable usage limits. We may enforce limits on the number of scans, pages per scan, or other usage. We may restrict access if a limit is reached or if we reasonably believe that a user is circumventing plan restrictions.

7. Purchases and Payment Processing

Paid plans are purchased through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout.

Lemon Squeezy processes transactions and handles applicable payment, tax, and transaction-related requirements under its own terms. Your purchase is also subject to the terms and disclosures presented at checkout. Review the price, currency, billing frequency, renewal terms, taxes, and other applicable conditions before completing a purchase.

We maintain the plan information needed to associate a purchase with your TheUrlInsights account and enable the relevant features. We do not intend to receive or store your full payment-card number through the extension.

For billing questions, contact support@theurlinsights.com and include the email address used at checkout and the order reference, if available. Do not email payment-card details.

8. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Cancellation

If you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges at the price and frequency shown at checkout until you cancel or the subscription otherwise ends.

Use the subscription-management or cancellation options provided through your Lemon Squeezy order or account links, where available. Cancel before the next billing date if you do not want a future renewal charge.

Cancellation generally stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund a charge already made. Unless the checkout terms or applicable law provide otherwise, access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

Refund requests are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy at https://theurlinsights.com/refund-policy, subject to applicable law and the payment provider’s process.

9. Lifetime-Access Purchases

If a lifetime-access plan is offered, it is a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription.

“Lifetime access” refers to access for the supported product lifetime as described at the time of purchase. It does not guarantee that the Service will operate forever or that every future feature will be included. Any applicable limits or conditions will be those disclosed at purchase and required by law.

10. Intellectual Property and License

The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to the operator of TheUrlInsights and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of the Service or its intellectual property to you. You must not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with written permission. You must not remove proprietary notices or use our branding in a misleading way.

You retain any rights you have to websites, content, and data you are authorized to access. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to scan, use, export, or otherwise process that material.

11. Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ratings, or feedback, you allow us to use that feedback to operate, maintain, and improve the Service without payment to you. This does not transfer ownership of intellectual property that you independently own and include in feedback.

Do not submit confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary and appropriate for a support request.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services, which may include Google, Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, hosting providers, and websites you choose to scan.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their independent availability, content, policies, or actions. Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

An outage, restriction, or change made by a third party may affect the Service. We may modify or replace integrations where reasonably necessary.

13. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, fix issues, update features, change technical requirements, or temporarily suspend parts of the Service.

We may add, modify, limit, or discontinue features or plans. Where required by law, we will provide notice or remedies for material changes to a paid service.

We may suspend or restrict access if necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, investigate abuse, enforce these Terms, or address a security or operational risk.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may cancel a subscription as described in these Terms and the applicable billing instructions.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or legal risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Termination does not remove payment obligations that arose before termination or provisions intended to continue, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related terms.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not warrant that the Service will meet every requirement, detect every broken link or SEO issue, provide uninterrupted results, or produce specific search-engine, traffic, revenue, or business outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of TheUrlInsights and the people and service providers working with the Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, data, or website availability arising from or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, total liability for claims arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid directly for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid for the Service, total liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, unauthorized scanning of websites, material violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own conduct where applicable law prohibits shifting that responsibility to you.

Our Privacy Policy at https://theurlinsights.com/privacy explains how we handle personal information. Review that policy before using the Service.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to you.

Disputes will be handled by a court or other forum with competent jurisdiction under applicable Indian law. Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer rights or prevents a claim from being brought before a forum that applicable law requires or permits.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, our business, or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made and provide notice where required by law.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect will be treated as acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription you no longer want.

21. General Terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without consent, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

These Terms and the policies they reference govern your use of the Service, subject to any separate terms presented at checkout and any mandatory legal requirements.
